Egypt ranks 22nd among 63 countries in the Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2024, recording 61.8 points.
The index gets issued by German Watch cooperation, which has highlighted the latest investments taken by Egypt in renewable energy projects.
The CCPI is an independent monitoring tool which tracks the climate protection performance of 63 countries and the European Union, aiming to create transparency within international climate politics.
