The International Monetary Fund (IMF) sent a mission led by Ivanna Vladkova Hollar with Egyptian authorities for a 4th review of Egypt's $8 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program from 6 to 20 November 2024. The outcomes of the
fourth review discussion will be submitted to the IMF’s board of directors. Once the review is approved, Egypt will be eligible to receive a tranche of $1.3 billion.
