H.E. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities announced that the total public and private investments in New Alamein have recorded EGP 240 billion. The ministry aims at developing the North Coast region, which represents 22 percent of Egypt, to accommodate around 7 million people, offer two million job opportunities and target 25 million tourists.
The government plans to establish Alamein as an investment destination for both local and foreign investors.
