Hassan El Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Robert Habeck, Germany's Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economy and Climate Protection, met to discuss various ways in which both nations can strengthen their economic relationship.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the announcement of the upcoming Joint Economic Committee (JEC), which will be held in Cairo on February 18-19, 2025. This high-level event will bring together top German business leaders and Egyptian entrepreneurs to discuss mutual trade, investment opportunities, and the development of joint projects.
